Halloween 2021

I had big plans for my Halloween sewing but when it came to crunch time I simplified everything and had a wonderfully relaxed day! My daughter Amelie went as a Vampire Princess and my son Nigel went as Tobi from Naruto. Both costumes were store bought which I’m totally okay with this year. My son’s costume was a repeat from last year when there was no trick or …

Halloween Sewing 2019- The Addams Family

I’m sew excited to share these Halloween makes! I lucked out this year- As soon as Ami saw the previews of the new Addams Family animated movie she was all in for us dressing up as the family. Now my son at 11 took a bit more convincing, but in the end he hopped on board. I adore Halloween. Not the scary stuff so much but the dressing …

Fall 2019 Wardrobe Planning

It’s October and it’s finally cooling down a tiny bit here in Florida. That means it’s time to start planning my fall wardrobe sewing and put away my most summery pieces. Vic and Nigel hit the mother-load candy wise- so we know where …

Always so much fun.  The kids filled their baskets to the brim this year!  Luckily for me the Sugar Plum fairy came and the candy has now disappeared to Fairy …

KCW + Halloween Sewing Plans

I wanted to add in an extra post today since its KCW!  I always love participating in Kids Clothes Week, especially since I really only sew for the kids a few times a year.  The theme for this week is Disguise-just in time for Halloween! My son was off school for the last two days so I’m holding off my KCW sewing until he heads back today.  We had a …
