Just a quick little post today. A very simple but immensely wearable 3/4 sleeve cream rib knit tee. This top features a slightly wider 3/4 sleeve and a nice deep hem and is self drafted. A quick sew mainly on the serger with cover stitched hems and a very narrow ribbed neckband. I always like a nice quick sew inbetween more complicated makes for a breather. I’ve been so busy lately getting ready to launch my new business that any time to sew is precious.
I’m wearing it here with my newly made floral midi skirt. This rib knit shirt will be in heavy rotation once the temps cool down. The top doesn’t look like much in photos but it’s really quite nice and is a great wardrobe basic.

We’re almost ready here for Halloween. Costumes are almost complete-just finishing up a tunic and toga for my husband, pumpkins are carved and I got my new Doc Martens in the mail. I did have to scale back on my costume a bit. There was no way I was going to finish my jacket in time- I over designed it just a bit. Too many pieces to be seamed together. So I’m now going as a laid back version of Black Widow. Handmade two tone ponte leggings (which are fab looking) with a leather moto jacket and Docs and my hair back in a french braid. That will have to do!

Back soon with my wardrobe plans for fall and Halloween pics! Happy Sewing!

I don’t see a submit button? I put in my email but noth8ng happens.
Hi Ruth! I just double checked it. There should be a line under the image of the sewing planner that says “enter you email” after you type it in click the “sewpomona embroidery newsletter” button and it should say success and turn green. Make sure you’re viewing the blog through your browser and not the email post. Let me know if you have any other problems.
