Lavender Lekala Tunic
I love a light flowing top in the summer. When the humidity is soaring wearing something light as air in a cool color is so refreshing. I made this simple tunic top in an almost sheer lavender knit in my tried and true Lekala pattern. I cut the hem on the selvedge for an easy raw finish.

This is a perfect quick sew project that you can make in less than an hour start to finish. I like to leave the hem unfinished and add arm and neck bands. Next time I’m going to make this a double layer that will be reversible in slightly different lengths. This pattern would also be lovely in a drapey rayon or voile.

I’ve had this tank in rotation all summer long but especially love it as a yoga coverup over leggings. I like the lower back and simple drape.

Dress – Sewing Pattern #5899
This is a very simple draped design that extends out at an angle to form the side flounce. I added narrow neck and armhole bands to my tank instead of the turned under edge in the pattern.

Cotton/Modal Jersey – Orchid OOS
Stonemountain & Daughter
- Total Yardage (yd):2 This cotton/modal jersey feels like your favorite, perfectly worn-in t-shirt! It’s perfect for tees and tank tops, but would also work well for looser.
