It’s been a very busy two weeks! Days 11-22 have included some fun days with Amelie at the Botanical Gardens and the playground. Last weekend was also our 10th wedding anniversary! I can’t believe how the time has just flown by.
I’m so lucky to be married to my very best friend and my love. If anything having this separation during the week while we’ve been moving has really strengthened our marriage. Being apart really does make you realize the daily things you take for granted.
But with all the wonderful days we had a big round of illness. What seemed to start of as a stomach virus for my 7 year old son last week ended in an emergency trip to the hospital where he was admitted for pneumonia. Luckily he’s bounced back quickly and was released the next day. Seeing your child so sick is very scary. We spent the rest of this weekend recovering at home. Trying to keep a little boy calm and relaxed once he feels better is no mean feat!
White Knit Tank Slip and Shape Shape Asymmetrical Wrap Skirt.
At the playground with Ami in the morning wearing a modified skater dress.
My 10th Wedding Anniversary but home with a sick kiddo so comfort is the rule of the day! Plus Ami is in her fav handmade leopard leggings. Wearing my Teal knit dress and navy leggings.

At the Botanical Gardens in a self drafted organic knit tank and leggings in navy and my Shape Shape Wrap Skirt.
My little boy was hospitalized Thursday and Friday for pneumonia. No pics for Thursday though I wore a very cozy blue Skater dress. Friday when we got back home I was so worn out I put on the most comfy clothes I could find. This is the most casual…and probably the most exhausted you’re likely to see me. Oh Lu Lu Ava Bra, tshirt refashioned tank and lounge capri’s (all unblogged).
Back home in Plantation and taking it easy as my son recuperates. Wearing my Holly Pants and a bias cut Mini Stripe Tank.
Working on some pattern testing at home in a Mandy Boat Tee and V8774 Embroidered Jeans.
Relaxing on Sunday morning in my stripe linen pants (unblogged) and my linen knitted Lina tank.
Happy Me Made May!
Yikes, sorry your son was so ill, but glad to hear he’s better! As for MMM, your rouleau top is beautiful, what workmanship!
Thanks Chloe! Luckily Nigel is recovering really well! That top is one of my favs, thanks for the compliments!
Glad your son is ok. That must have been so scary! Great outfits!
