It’s been a bit of a hassle taking pics of my looks everyday but hopefully it’s improving my photography a bit. The beginning of the week found me a little bored with my looks, especially trying to find new outfits to wear, but I broke out of my slump with some new makes! I’ll have quite a few new things to show off in the weeks ahead. I just dyed a few unfinished pieces this week in Quebracho Rojo, made a few swimsuits and beach wear for our vacation this weekend and just got in some beautiful fabric from Marcy Tilton and Organic Cottons Plus (My fav Near Sea Naturals fabrics)! Here’s what I wore this past week! You can see more over on my Flickr page :)
Thursday- Day 15- Beachside with Ami at Lowdermilk Park in the morning- Modified Colette Laurel Beach Tunic
Friday- Day 16- Friday’s Flickr theme: Too Pretty to Wear Pants- Wearing my Colette Hawthorn Dress
Saturday- Day 17- Me-made Indigo dyed jeans (+ a William Morris Tee from the MET & new title nine flip flops)
Sunday- Day 18- Twist & Drape Blouse– one of my early makes.
Monday- Day 19- Helping out at my son’s school with some end of year tie dyeing with the kids in the morning. Wearing my indigo dyed drawstring pants plus old clothes I didn’t mind getting stained:)
Tuesday- Day 20- Morning at Max Hasse Park with Ami- Self Drafted top and Reversible Wrap Skirt, both dyed with Indigo.
Wednesday- Day 21- My newest make- a Burda Blouse made with an Organic Cotton/Lycra Mix, dyed with Quebracho Rojo. Ami dyed her refashioned dress too! At Pelican Bay Park. I’ll be blogging about this make next week so stay tuned!
Hope everyone is enjoying MMM as much as I am! Time for me to start packing my makes for vacation! Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!
This blouse is a stunning shape. And the subtle dye is lovely.
I see Ami got in on the act too! Any shade of pink makes her happy!
She is learning at your knee. Pass it on!
Thanks Mom! I’ll be posting more about the new Burda blouse next week! Love it! I really love being able to teach the kids about sewing & dyes!~
