For ever more a hope unseen, Betwixt the blossom and the bow.
Ah, where’s the river’s hidden Gold! And where’s the windy grave of Troy!
Yet come I as I came of old, From out the heart of summer’s joy.

How to Print and Assemble Your PDF Embroidery Pattern & Stitching Guide
Sew Pomona patterns are all currently offered in PDF format for your convenience. You can print at home or at your local copy shop.
After you purchase your pattern through Etsy you will be emailed a link sent in your order confirmation. Just click through the link and download your file and save it somewhere safe, either on a cloud drive and on your computer in it’s on folder.
All my patterns come with the following:
- Digital Embroidery Stitching Guide in Letter/A4 Format. You can print this out or view on a tablet or phone while you work.
- Print at Home Embroidery Sewing Pattern in Letter/A4. This file will include a full color image of the embroidery pattern in the suggested floss colors as well as a reverse copy if needed. This way you can trace off your design or use a lightbox to transfer your image to fabric. The pattern file also contains template shapes to use in sewing construction. The pattern is formatted for printing on any home printer.
- Embroidery Pattern and Sewing Instructions in Letter/A4. You can print these instructions out or view them on your phone/tablet or computer while you work.
How to Print:
Always print the first pattern page (with 1” scale box) to ensure your pattern is printing to scale. PDF files are most easily opened in Adobe Acrobat or Reader. In your printer dialogue settings select “No scaling” or “actual size.” If you’re working on a Mac, you will be to print from “Preview” at 100% scaling.
Once you have printed the first page, ensuring that the scaling is accurate, print the remainder of the pages. Most of our patterns fit on a single page. If a pattern is spread across multiple pages, you will see boxes that mark where to connect the pieces that are clearly labeled.
Assembly for Multi-sheet Pattern Pieces:
To assemble multiple page pattern pieces simply cut off one pages border edge and attach on to the corresponding page using tape (or a glue stick) to secure in place. Each page is numbered for ease of use.
Feel free to enlarge or shrink pattern pieces to fit your sewing pattern or desired look. My designs are vector images made in Adobe Illustrator, so they are easily scalable. My pattern pieces are meant to be templates. You can use the pattern as designed or fit it to any sewing pattern you are working with. If working with Ready to Wear clothing and larger designs, you may need to disassemble the garment to be able to hoop the pattern to fit.
I can’t wait to see what you create! Share your makes with hashtag #sewpomonaembroidery.
