Organic French Twill Button Tab Pants

I’m obsessed with this organic cotton french twill! I bought a few yards originally for my 1950’s Beach Jacket and loved it so much I ordered more for these pants, a bra top and shorts. The fabric is a lovely lightweight twill weave in a creamy white which is just perfect for spring. After I fractured my ankle at the beginning of the year my big plan was …

Vintage Butterick 4659 Indigo Dyed Pant and Regatta Rib Knit Tank

I’m so in love with this whole look! If you saw my earlier dyeing post here’s the finished results, these 70’s vintage straight-leg pants with patch pockets. You can see the dye is much more subtle now but it really works for this look. I carefully cut out my yardage to keep the pattern lined up across the front, back and pockets. This Ice Blue Twill Burda Midi skirt paired with a self drafted white scoop neck tee is one of my new favorite outfits. The skirt is just casual enough for everyday wear, especially with the rustic coconut shell buttons, and the tee is a true wardrobe staple. This is …

Blue Confetti Knit Top + Cream Selvedge Culottes

I’m so excited about this new top! It’s self drafted off my knit sloper with the shoulder seam pushed to the back in a curved inset. I love how regency dresses had the shoulder seams pushed to the back bodice and I wanted to create a more modern adaptation of that idea. This is my very wearable muslin testing out those seamlines.  I purchased this blue confetti French …
