Lemon Stripe Utu Skirt and Terra T-shirt

I’m back today with a brand new make! This is my lemon stripe Utu skirt from breaking the Pattern by Named worn with a simple Terra t-shirt. Perfect summer outfit!

Breton Stripe Knit Wrap Jacket

I love a good Breton stripe and this one is a gorgeous shade of delft blue and super cozy. I was originally planning on making this into a tee but I love loops on the wrong side of the fabric and wanted to be able to show them off. I used Suzy Furrer’s Craftsy Class – Designing Your Wardrobe- Drafting Tops- to make this up. It’s the last …

Orange Poppies Self Drafted Tank

As soon as I saw this gorgeous fabric I fell in love! Poppies have always been my favorite flower to draw, I used them quite a bit in my early printmaking. The oranges and teal/ grey on this wheat background is just perfection. This was my splurge purchase for myself at Christmas as this fabric is $40/yd. I figured I’d buy 1 yd and use it for a …

I bought the pattern and all the supplies …

Quince Rib Knit 3/4 Sleeve Top

I’m sharing a super simple make today, this rib knit 3/4 sleeve top in Quince from Birch fabrics. This is one of the last makes I photographed from last year…and for some time to come. I ended the year with a bang- fracturing my ankle in not one but 3 places! I rang out the New Year in the hospital, the very last place I expected to be! …

Vintage Butterick 4659 Indigo Dyed Pant and Regatta Rib Knit Tank

I’m so in love with this whole look! If you saw my earlier dyeing post here’s the finished results, these 70’s vintage straight-leg pants with patch pockets. You can see the dye is much more subtle now but it really works for this look. I carefully cut out my yardage to keep the pattern lined up across the front, back and pockets. The tank is a happy accident. …
